Our special blend of premium seeds are applied with additives that promote rapid germination, and deep roots. You will see growth 7-10 days after we hydro seed, and in 2-3 weeks you will see the beginning of a lush full lawn. Our special mix produces grass with a fine blade and deep roots. A superb lawn not available with sod, or other seeding methods.

Better than just "Broadcasting Seed"

We suggest a minimum of 4 to 6 inches of sifted topsoil for best results. If you hire a local contractor, they will be able to haul in and spread evenly throughout your lot. The soil must be rolled for compaction and raked smooth free of lumps and level with existing driveways and sidewalks. For best results hydroseeding requires 1/2 to 1 inch of loose topsoil making a perfect seed bed for your new lawn.

Acreage Sites

For best results 4 to 6 inches of topsoil is best, you may have to haul in some topsoil around your new home foundation for there will be clay contaminated soil from backfilling around the basement. Most acreages have good soil that can be tilled and prepared for hydroseeding. Working the soil with a disc and harrowing works fine, some prefer to rototill then harrow smooth, you can turn your harrows upside down to do the final grade. The final grade should be quite firm, that can be achieved by repeating the harrowing process leaving a seed bed of approximately 1 inch. Your lot should be free of lumps, roots and rocks.
