Hydroseeding sometimes called Hydro Mulching or Hydraulic Seeding is a process of seeding with a mixture of water, wood and or paper mulch, seed, starter fertilizer, and tacifier (organic glue).  These ingredients are mixed in a large tank and then sprayed into the perpared soil surface, creating a green crust layer of mulch, seed, soil and tacifier. Holding the moisture in, creating the perfect enviroment to establish the germinating seeds.  Generally, you will see grass sprouts within 5 to 7 days, as long as the ground is warm and has been adequately watered.
